Formerly THE DEMON DUCK OF DOOM

Well well…it seems that Blogspot has hosted a worm on my former page, THE DEMON DUCK OF DOOM. 

So now I’m on WordPress, and I promise to post more regularly here. It’s been a pretty wild year…I have a second edition of PREPARE TO BOARD! coming out in September, taught a full course load at Sheridan, and also moved house (finally) and am now sort of catching my breath. Those last three things took place simultaneously!

Everything went pretty well, excepting a mild but expensive panic attack for Gizmo the cat.

Now, since it’s the Fourth of July I thought I’d post a picture of the gangster who ‘died a true American’–Bill “the Butcher” Poole.

My friend Rose Keefe is writing a book about this man. Her older book, THE STARKER, about the remarkable and conflicted Jewish gangster “big Jack Zelig” was outstanding. The other one will be just as good, I think.

Anyway….

I used to be an inveterate blogger before discovering Facebook. Mea culpa, I am on there nearly every day. But since I restrict that site to a few thousand of my closest friends, I have decided to start blogging again. It may be fun.
